COVID-19 UPDATE AND HOW ALBION ANTIQUE AUCTION CENTRE WILL OPERATE
To all our valued customers, YES we have made changes as to how things operate and will continue to monitor and review them to ensure all of our health and safety in this uncertain time. With the adoption of the AVAA Auction Protocol and our own house rules, we feel this is going to be the best way to conduct our business moving forward.
As instructed by the Prime Minister on Tues 25th of March Traditional auctions for the moment will no longer occur. We have decided to move all the auctions for this period to the platform INVALUABLE.COM, previously we had charged the 5% USD surcharge that we get charged by Invaluable to use their platform to all successful invaluable clients, in the current climate I have decided to absorb that costs, so ALL auctions and bidding methods for the moment will have, the buyers premium of 18.5%. Our auctions will work the same as our Sunday sales as in you can bid Online Live, Absentee or by Phone, whatever way your successful you only pay 18.5 % Buyers Premium. NO one can PHYSICALLY attend the auction no longer

COLLECTION & DELIVERY
We are more than willing to help organize Carriers, or Post items to you ( at your cost) If you do want to collect your assets, again our preference is for APPOINTMENT ONLY, my staff will get your items together for you, and you will be assigned an area to pack and remove your items.
Our Preference for payments is to be made via Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer. As we move to Online Only, We do accept cash but preference is for Electronic payments. Vendor Payments will be done later as payment and collection/delivery for online is always somewhat delayed which will push out our normal time frames
CONSIGNING / BOOKING IN
We are taking items in, but this will be done by Purely Appointment Only, we will be making changes to what we take in now that we have to move to an online model, so moving forward No corner lots will be taken in at this stage. We will also be a bit more selective at this time as Online is a lot more time consuming for us.
First off DO NOT ATTEND our site if you are sick, unwell or think you’re unwell. Our Sanitation station will remain at the front of the door, everyone MUST clean their hands when entering our building, gloves are available to use if you wish. Social Distancing of a minimum of 1.5m MUST be adhered too. You must also fill in the COVID Register in accordance with the QLD Govt Regulations
